Why I am Running

Already Working on What Matters Most

Erin was appointed to the Idaho Legislature in January 2026 and got to work immediately. She came in with a clear set of Republican values and a practical understanding of what District 32 families actually need. These are the priorities she is advancing for the people of Bonneville County right now.

Balancing the Budget

Erin was appointed to the Idaho Legislature in January 2026 and got to work immediately. She came in with a clear set of Republican values and a practical understanding of what District 32 families actually need. These are the priorities she is advancing for the people of Bonneville County right now.

What she is working on:

  • Passing a balanced budget with no exceptions and no gimmicks

  • Protecting core services like education, roads, and public safety

  • Cutting waste and inefficiency before cutting programs families depend on

  • Ensuring every tax dollar is justified
    and accounted for

Education and Training for Our Kids

Every child in District 32 deserves a real shot at a great future. That means strong public schools, well-supported teachers, and pathways that reflect the real world our kids are entering.

Erin has been in the classrooms, served as PTO President, organized a school bond campaign, and stayed closely connected to the schools her own children attended. She knows what teachers need, what parents expect, and what students deserve.

What she is working on:

  • Stable, predictable funding for public schools in District 32

  • Expanding career and technical education so every student has a clear pathway forward, whether that is college, a trade, or entrepreneurship

  • Keeping parents informed and involved in their children's education

  • Making sure state policy reflects what is actually happening in our local classrooms, not just what looks good in Boise

Housing, Healthcare and Cost of Living

The cost of living in southeast Idaho has risen sharply. Housing that was affordable a few years ago is out of reach for many young families today. Healthcare costs continue to climb. Groceries, utilities, and everyday expenses are stretching budgets that are already tight.

Erin hears it at every door: families in District 32 are feeling the squeeze. She is in Boise working on real solutions right now. She believes in removing government barriers, encouraging private sector solutions, and trusting Idahoans to make the best decisions for their own families. Erin will apply those principles to the real affordability challenges facing Bonneville County.

What she is working on:

  • Removing regulatory barriers that slow down responsible housing development and drive up costs

  • Ensuring Idaho families can afford to live where they were raised

  • Protecting Medicaid for the Idahoans who depend on it while pursuing fiscally sustainable long-term solutions

  • Keeping government out of decisions that belong to families and their doctors

Agriculture and Water Rights

Southeast Idaho is farm country. The land, the water, and the people who work both are central to the identity and economy of this region. Erin and her family live on working land south of Idaho Falls and understand that agriculture is not just an industry here. It is a way of life.

Water rights are the foundation of Idaho agriculture, and protecting them is non-negotiable. As the federal government continues to assert pressure over land and water management, Idaho must stand firm in defense of the rights that farmers, ranchers, and irrigators depend on.

What she is working on:

  • Protecting Idaho's water rights from federal overreach

  • Supporting Idaho's farmers, ranchers, and the agricultural economy that anchors southeast Idaho

  • Ensuring that state land and water policy is set in Idaho, not in Washington D.C.

  • Standing up for the property rights of every landowner in District 32

Safe Communities

Idaho is one of the safest states in the nation and District 32 families deserve to keep it that way. Erin supports law enforcement, believes in personal responsibility, and will work to ensure that the communities of Bonneville County remain safe places to raise a family.

Safe communities are the foundation of everything else, strong families, thriving businesses, and good schools. Erin shares that belief and will carry it into every public safety decision she makes in Boise.

What she is working on:

  • Supporting local law enforcement with the resources they need

  • Keeping Idaho's criminal justice system focused on accountability and public safety

  • Ensuring that state policy keeps District 32 families safe

Erin is your representative right now.
She is not waiting to get to work. She is already there.
